Yesterday(2008 January 23) I was at the Vichy aqua-park which is in Vilnius, THE capital of our not so very great nation, we were at the door by 09:40 so we had to wait for some 20 minutes for the security guard (who was wearing a nice suit(so probably its not his, or he gets paid really well)) to let us in. After standing in the 20m/s winds and cold rain, it was very nice to get inside, where was 30C degrees. So we bought 4 hrs of watery fun and were on our way to the space of aquatic adventures. On the way there I met a really nice old man, he worked there although he was about 70+ years. So we changed our clothes into swim-wear and hit the showers. Once inside, I had a sudden feeling of deja-vu. After a while of having fun, i realized that it was almost the exact copy of the aqua-park in Jurmala, Latvija. I was a bit saddened by that thought, that it was not the only aqua-park of this type, but it had an advantage over its cousin in Latvia, it had a very cool ride, that involved a sudden plunge down and climbing into a watery wall after gaining momentum from the fall and the having going down again backwards, which was thrilling, i went on it again and again. My dad and I even reached the top of the great wall of watery thrills, which was not so common in the park. So after all the fun I had there, I would most certainly go there again and again, although it has the same problem as the Latvian water-valley - the orange slide tears your swimming shorts, and gives you pain, so i don't suggest you using the slide on the right in the 7'th floor, but besides that its the place to be if you're in search of fun.
